The Tyler Nicholas Foundation ("the Foundation", "we", "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who uses our website and engages with our work. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to nicholasoffice.online and the services we provide through it.
Who we are
The Foundation is a youth-focused organisation based in the Republic of Seychelles. If you have any questions about this policy or how your information is handled, contact us through our contact page.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you register interest, apply for a role or programme, submit an opportunity, subscribe to alerts, or send us a message, we collect the details you provide โ such as your name, email address, phone number, district, and the content of your message or application.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic technical information such as your browser type, device type and general usage, to keep the site secure and improve it.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiries, applications and submissions.
- To send you opportunity alerts or newsletters where you have asked us to.
- To run our programmes, recruitment and volunteering, and to contact you about them.
- To operate, secure and improve our website and services.
We only use your information for the purposes for which you provided it, or for closely related purposes.
Legal basis and consent
Where you submit a form or subscribe, you consent to us using your details for that purpose. You can withdraw consent at any time โ for example, by asking us to remove you from our mailing list.
How your information is stored
Your information is stored securely using reputable service providers, including our database and hosting provider (Supabase). Access to personal information is limited to authorised members of the Foundation who need it to carry out their responsibilities.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except where necessary to deliver a service you have requested, to comply with the law, or to protect the safety of a child or young person.
Safeguarding
Because we work with young people, keeping them safe is our first responsibility. Information shared through a safeguarding concern is handled confidentially and only shared with the people who need it to keep a young person safe. See our safeguarding page for more.
Children and young people
Some of the people we work with are under 18. We collect only what is necessary, and where appropriate we seek the involvement of a parent, guardian or responsible adult.
Your rights
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong or out of date.
- Ask us to delete your information or stop contacting you.
To exercise any of these rights, get in touch and we will respond as quickly as we can.
Cookies
Our site uses only the cookies needed to function and to understand general usage. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and the current version will always be available on this page.
